School of Ministry
Equipping God’s people for service is vital for daily living.
The Emmanuel School of Ministry (ESM) is a training arm at Emmanuel Church to mobilise every member to be a powerful and effective minister for Jesus. We focus on three core development areas: Christian Ministry, Discipleship and Life Skills.
The Christian Ministry Track (open to the wider body of Christ, as well as members of Emmanuel Church) includes training for all walks of Christian living. We will be discovering biblical theology, godly relationships, spiritual gifts and the fivefold ministry. We choose to follow important biblical truths, virtues and practices, and this will be taught within a Spirit-filled context.
At Emmanuel, we go beyond the Sunday service. We believe in equipping people to flourish in their workplaces, homes and wider territory. From developing your skillset and relevant career opportunities, to cooking on a budget and time management we want to help you. Life Skills is open for anyone, believer or not, and seeks to encourage and bring to life the potential lying within you.
The Discipleship Track fulfils the in-house training needs of our members. Emmanuel is a cell-based church that believes in equipping our members not only to be effective ministers, but also committed and fruitful disciples of Jesus Christ. We provide this track for all those in life groups - from new believers to long-term leaders - to grow in Christlikeness. We train disciples to then disciple others.
