Our Vision
Psalm 133:3a: It is as if the dew of Hermon
were falling on Mount Zion.
The word Hermon means "devoted" or "sanctified"—holy.
The dew descends from Mount Hermon upon the mountains of Zion, (Israel).
It is the scarcity of water in the dry lands, which makes Mount Hermon's dews so precious. Like the oil that flows down the beard of Aaron, so the dew of Mount Hermon reaches far beyond its point of origin and gives life to faraway lands.
Both the dew of Hermon and the oil of ordination are compared to the pleasantness of unity among the brethren, “ for there the LORD bestows his blessing, even life forevermore.”
Our Objectives
Purpose
This is an events-based ministry with the objective of “feeding and replenishing” women of Emmanuel Church and all women who attend our events.
Events
The intention is to hold an annual Women's Conference and other smaller topic focused meetings. A Zoom meeting for prayer and worship will also be held annually.
Focus
These events whilst fun will have a strong focus on bringing God’s healing, deliverance and growth to attendees. So that, they in turn can do the same for women in their own spheres of influence.
Membership
Nicola Atkinson will oversee the ministry with Francesca Hammond as the head of ministry.
All women of Emmanuel Edgeware and Westminster ARE members.
The Committee members are there to facilitate the events and therefore we as members must all endeavour to participate and invite as many women as possible to our events.
